It's funny how the saying goes as American as apple pie or baseball, but for our family pizza is tradition. Pizza is a staple in our home and it just never gets old. The great thing about making homemade pizza is you can keep your whole family happy by making personal sized pizzas for each person's taste. I love chicken on my pizza. I remember the first time my husband got me to try pizza using toppings other than just pepperoni and sausage. I wasn't so sure about the idea or how chicken on pizza would taste, but since then I've been braver and now I'm trying my hand at making my own creations. Our family loves barbecue sauce but when I think of barbecue sauce I typically think of ribs or pulled pork. I wanted to take two things our family loves barbecue sauce and pizza and put them together for a tasty meal we would all enjoy. Today, I'm going to show you how I used KC Masterpiece barbecue sauce to make delicious pizza in just fifteen minutes!

Do you have the guts to bet on your baby? I'm not sure I would be able to predict what the Booper would do next as a baby and he's four years old now. Kids are so unpredictable at times, and put them in new situations and then the fun begins! Bet On Your Baby is a fun game show where parents watch their baby in a dome and bet on how their child will respond to the room. Premiering on May 31, Bet On Your Baby is asking moms and dads "What will your baby do next?"
Do you love to travel? An unforgettable vacation is closer than you might think. Living in southern Indiana I've had the pleasure of visiting Missouri more than once, and it's always an amazing time. One of my favorite family vacations from my childhood was visiting Branson, Missouri. My aunt, uncle and my cousins all went along with our family and we stopped in Branson on our way to Colorado. I remember the kids all cried because we didn't want to leave Missouri we were having so much fun we didn't want it to stop. Our favorite stop in Branson was Silver Dollar City theme park. We felt like we had discovered a hidden gem! My sister, cousins and I could not get enough of the unique indoor roller coaster "Fire In The Hole" we rode it literally a hundred times! Great memories visiting Missouri as a child and now creating new family memories taking our son to the St. Louis Zoo we love having so many fun attractions so close to home.
Make memories with your family and plan your next vacation to Missouri!

The Booper like most four year old children he is very curious about letters and how they relate to words. We received Word World: Hide and Seek from NCircle Entertainment, and I knew it was perfect timing for my little guy. Mr. Boop has started to notice when I'm not wanting him to know what we're talking about I'll do what a lot of parents do with younger kids, I'll spell out the words. He will then start saying several random letters very seriously as if he's spelling an important word because he wants to be just like mommy and daddy.
There are so many great ways to make your house a home, but long after you've hung a wreath on your door home ownership has some huge responsibilities. We have a turn of the century two-story home that requires constant upkeep. There were so many little things I didn't consider when we were purchasing our fixer-upper such as yearly maintenance. We have on going projects that we do as we can afford them then a few we contracted after saving for a period of time. Keeping track of your home improvement and project spending can be a daunting task and I really didn't have a place to keep it all together in an organized fashion. Since I was given the opportunity to try out the features of the Premium Membership to HomeZada. I've discovered they have some awesome online home organizing tools for do-it-your-self-er types like my husband and I.

Having beautiful flowers and picking luscious veggies from your own garden can bring such joy. I'll have to admit last year I really let my flower beds go down hill and our curb appeal was..not so appealing. When I would pull into our drive way and see my pathetic flower beds I would feel sad and guilty. This year I made a vow to myself that not only was our flower bed going to have more than weeds, but I would plant a garden for our family to enjoy some home grown produce. While we have amazing soil around our home I want to keep it that way by learning to compost. Since composting starts inside your home with food scraps let me introduce a useful kitchen composting tool the Green Cycler.

The Booper is all boy, and if you ask his favorite video game he will not hesitate to tell you he LOVES the Super Mario Brothers. I love that we can play the Mario video games as a family and have lots of fun together. As our little guy grows the old baby quilts and covers just won't cover him any more. I remember the first night I realized he was much taller than I had noticed. I kept trying to cover him with his favorite blanky and he kept saying he was still cold. Suddenly I realized his feet were sticking out. It was like he grew over night! When he moved to the full sized bed my flowered pink comforter just wouldn't work so we chose a beautiful reversible comforter from Brylane Home.

I have a shadow. He's an adorable shadow. He follows me wherever I go and he calls me "Mommy" and I call him "Booper". The Booper loves to do whatever I'm doing and at four years old there are so many wonderful things we can do together such as gardening. I don't have a green thumb by any means, but we do have really good soil around our home, so the flowers seem to thrive which makes gardening really fun. This year we're giving our front flower bed an overhaul. Thanks to Magic Cabin for sending us the Large Children's Tool Set for an honest review the Booper can be a real help!

Spending time together with my favorite little guy is always fun, but he has really enjoys our time reading books. We received two books for review from Capstone Young Readers, so we could share our opinions here without bias. I think you can see in the picture above that he was captivated by the illustrations by Pascal Campion in these lovely and simple picture books. Written by Maria Catherine "Time Together:Me and Mom" and "Time Together:Me and Dad" depict children doing simple activities with their mom or dad. I wondered if the Booper would be too old for these books, but he sat for a long time looking at the pictures.
Spring is here! Finally. I'm so happy the weather has started to reflect the season change here in our state. We've been so ready to see some sunshine along with warmer temperatures, but while we've been waiting the Booper and I have been planting flowers! I welcomed the chance to share my honest review for this lovely Spring Bulb Gift Kit from Longfield Gardens. I didn't know which kit they would be sending me but I wasn't disappointed when my kit arrived and it was a Terrarium. I've always wanted a terrarium and this one is just the right size to get my flower started.
